Knappgården is situated close to Österdals älven with beautiful views over the mountainpeaks Nipfjället and Städjan. The homestead dates back to the 17th Century and is built in the traditional style with whole logs and split log roofs. It is 20 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of ski slopes and lifts in Idre and Fjätervålen.From the house you can ski on prepared tracks or go straight out with the snow scooter for miles of prepared routes.In the summer it is close to fishing, swimming and canoeing.Fulufjället is only 30 minutes away, our National Park nominated by PAN Parks as one of four outstanding areas of wilderness in Europe.
